I've been feelin' crafty

I've been in the crafting mood lately. When I am in the mood, I tend to do a bunch of crafts all at once and then I don't craft anything for a few weeks because I am "crafted" out. My favorite craft lately is making "freezer paper T-shirts". They are so fun and I love the end result.

I made this shirt for Ella and it fits her personality perfectly.

Here is another one I made for her.

I also made these and hung them on her bedroom wall.

I am actually working on another project but it isn't finished yet. As soon as I finish it (if I finish it haha), I will post a picture of it. So far I am happy with how it is turning out. Stay tuned!

Potty Training!! (I can't believe she is old enough)

Well, I broke down and bought Ella some panties today. Potty training is probably one of my least favorite things to do as a mother. It is so stressful. Being potty trained also means that she is not a baby anymore and this makes me so sad. It means one less thing that she will depend on me for. Ugh!! Why do the first few years of their little lives have to go by so fast!? Why can't they stay babies longer? Rich and I are always telling the kids to "stop growing!". They think it is funny and roll their eyes at us, but one day (when they have kids of their own) they will know just how serious we were.

However, there is one good thing about potty training...NO MORE DIAPERS!!!!!!!!

Testing, testing

Ok, so I have tried the whole blogging thing before but like a lot of things it got put on the back burner and eventually forgotten. So, I am setting a new goal for myself and I am going to start blogging again. I am not sure yet what this blog will consist of, but I am sure it will have plenty of posts about what our family is up to and probably a few posts about new crafty things I have attempted (and most likely failed at, ha ha).
